Getting started

Your first session

The desktop app includes the terminal host for the computer it runs on: open it and start a session there.

  1. Download and open the app

    Choose a published Production build for your platform on the download page, unpack it, and open Superlogical. Preview builds contain newer work and may be unfinished. The download page also explains the macOS first-open step.

  2. Create a session

    Choose New Session from the File menu and select the local host. Name the session and open a terminal on your computer.

  3. Find a file or review a change

    Choose Insert Path from the Edit menu to find a path under the shell’s folder. In a Git repository, Worktrees and Changes in the File menu show its branches and diffs.

Local sessions work without signing in.
