Hosts and devices
Remote Linux hosts
Use Tailscale SSH or your existing SSH access to add another computer to the desktop app.
Check access
Use a Linux x86_64 or ARM64 computer you can already reach with an SSH key or Tailscale SSH. For Tailscale SSH, connect both computers to Tailscale and enable SSH access to the host first.
Choose Add Remote Host
Open Add Remote Host from the File menu and choose Set up with SSH. Enter user@host, a Tailscale name with your username, or an SSH alias you already use.
Choose optional details
Open Advanced options to give the host a display name or choose a starting folder. If you already have connection details for a configured host, choose Manual connection instead.
Connect to its sessions
Choose Set up & connect. If Tailscale asks you to verify access, use Open Tailscale sign-in and complete the browser check. Once connected, select the host to open a session and work with its files and tools.
Tailscale is optional and is configured outside Superlogical. Enter a host name, IP address, or SSH alias here; a website URL is not a remote-host address.
