Features · Automatic Contrast Correction

Colours you can read, on the theme you chose.

Most terminal programs pick colours for a dark background, so on a light theme they fade. Ubik checks each colour against your background and fixes only the ones that fail.

The same listing on a light theme: the colors lsd sent, then what Ubik paints. Every color now meets 4.5:1 against the background.

What it does.

Keeps the hue
Pale green becomes a green you can read, not a grey.
Leaves the rest alone
Colours that already pass are painted as the program sent them.
Per viewer
Each client corrects for its own theme, so light and dark viewers share one session.
